Applied Chemistry Specialty（Sino-New Zealand cooperation）
Training Objective：
Applied Chemistry Specialty is the project of cooperative education by SIT and AUT. The aim of this cooperative education project is to produce applicative & inter-disciplinary, international perspective senior-talents who will have good English language capabilities, be able to master excellent chemistry theories, be with the capable of classic and modern analytical chemistry technologies. The specialty with 2 orientations includes Analytical Chemistry & Environmental Protection, QA&QC.
Major Course:
Inorganic chemistry、Organic Chemistry、Analytical Chemistry、Physical Chemistry、Instrumental Analysis、Organic Analysis、Spectroscopic Methods in Organic Chemistry、Quality Management、Competence of Testing and Quality Management Standards、Physical Measurement, Freshwater Ecology, Biochemistry, Natural products, Food Chemistry, Environmental and Inorganic chemistry，etc.
Employment Directions:
The related positions for graduators are including Environmental monitoring, R&D, Technical management, QA&QC in chemical & material science industry, Pharma & Food industry, environmental protection & inspection, Energy and Metallurgical industry
